The 45L Premium comes in two builds: 1680D ballistic nylon (water- and abrasion-resistant) or vegan leather (58% RCS recycled polyester, 42% polyurethane — Oeko-Tex certified recycled content). Both use a soft Taslan lining, metal hardware, and lockable zipper sliders. A top grain leather build is also available, exclusively in the smaller 40L size (Black, $348).

Garment-hanging compartment with reinforced hanger loops and velcro flap (fits up to a 50R jacket or dress). Two dedicated interior shoe pockets (Size M13 each). New large front zipper pocket, side zip pocket, and side slip pocket. Additional internal pockets: zipper pocket, mesh pocket, tie pocket, and two secret stash pockets. Back trolley sleeve and exterior padded laptop sleeve (fits 15" laptop).

What's the difference between the Premium and the original?
Same 2-in-1 design. The 45L Premium upgrades the shell (1680D ballistic nylon or vegan leather), adds a padded 15" laptop sleeve, lockable zipper sliders, metal hardware, stabilized feet, and a soft Taslan lining. A top grain leather build is available exclusively in the 40L size. The original Garment Duffel uses 420D polyester and is lighter.
Which material should I choose?
Ballistic nylon ($178) is the most durable and abrasion-resistant — best for frequent business travel. Vegan leather ($198) is buttery-smooth and dressier, well-suited to weddings and client dinners. Top grain leather ($348) is the heritage pick — and it's available exclusively in the smaller 40L size, in Black.
Will my suit really stay wrinkle-free?
Yes — when packed correctly. The garment section holds your suit on the hanger throughout the flight with reinforced hanger loops and a velcro retention flap. Lay the bag flat in the overhead bin for best results.
Will this fit in the overhead bin?
Yes. The Premium is carry-on friendly for most airlines. The leather builds are slightly more structured, so lay them flat in the overhead for best results. Thousands of bags have shipped without gate-agent issues.
Are the locks included?
No — the zipper sliders are designed to accept a TSA-approved padlock, but the padlock is sold separately. Any standard luggage padlock fits.
